About Rev. Chris Hope

Educator. Technologist. Minister. Father.

I’m Rev. Chris Hope— and I've spent my career asking one question: What kind of world are we building for our children, our workers, and our communities as AI transforms everything around us? That question has led me from the pulpit to the classroom, from nonprofit leadership to corporate consulting, from community organizing to teaching at one of the nation's leading universities. Today, through Hope Coded and The Hope Group, I help organizations navigate the most important technology transformation of our lifetime—not just with technical expertise, but with moral clarity, practical wisdom, and hope.”

WHO I AM: I am a father, and ethical systems architect committed to building what I call the Digital Beloved Community—a future where technology serves justice, amplifies creativity, and centers human dignity.

THE HOPE GROUP: The Hope Group is my vehicle for organizational consulting and training on ethical AI adoption. Recent client work includes:

• Developing AI governance frameworks for school districts navigating ChatGPT in classrooms

• Leading AI ethics training for nonprofit leadership teams wondering if AI can amplify their mission

• Creating responsible AI policies for mission-driven organizations

• Facilitating AI strategy workshops for corporate teams committed to scaling responsibly

• Designing custom AI ethics curricula for universities and professional associations

At the heart of all of this is a single belief: People come first. And my hope is that our tools—like our children—can grow up with that truth embedded in them.
