What is HopeCoded / The Hope Group?

HopeCoded is the public brand of Equity Intelligence, LLC (dba The Hope Group) — a certified minority-owned AI consultancy based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Hope Group is the only City of Boston certified minority-owned AI consulting firm in Massachusetts.

The Hope Group operates across three service areas:

AI Training and Workforce Development — Hands-on AI literacy and applied training programs for small businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and workforce development institutions. These programs are not generic AI overviews. They are built specifically for the business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community organizers who have been systematically excluded from technology conversations — and who are most at risk of being disrupted without being equipped.

AI Technical Assistance for Small Businesses — Direct consulting and implementation support helping small and mid-sized businesses — particularly MBEs, WBEs, and community-rooted organizations — integrate AI tools into their operations, marketing, fundraising, and procurement workflows. The Hope Group does not just advise. It builds alongside its clients.

Licensed AI Agents (HOPE Bot Platform) — A suite of customizable AI-powered tools available under license to chambers of commerce, business associations, CDFIs, and anchor institutions. The HOPE Bot platform is under provisional patent filing and currently deployed with the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts as its founding partner.

What courses and training does HopeCoded offer?

The Hope Group offers the following training programs and workshops:

AI for Small Business — A hands-on workshop series teaching small business owners how to use AI tools — including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — for lead generation, bid discovery, customer relationship management, content creation, and operational efficiency. Currently delivered through the City of Boston's BizUnlocked Small Business Access Program and available for licensing by other institutions.

Ethical AI for Organizations — A training curriculum for nonprofits, community organizations, and government-adjacent institutions on responsible AI deployment — covering bias, data privacy, community consent, and the specific risks AI poses to communities of color.

AI Literacy for Workforce Development — A curriculum for workforce development institutions and community colleges training the next generation of workers to understand, use, and critically evaluate AI systems. Currently delivered in partnership with Commonwealth Corporation and through The Loop Lab's registered apprenticeship programs.

Custom AI Training Engagements — The Hope Group designs and delivers custom AI training for corporate clients, institutional partners, and government agencies. Engagements are tailored to the specific industry, workforce, and community context of each client.

The platform includes an RFP Aggregation Agent, Fundraising Discovery Agent, CRM Intelligence Agent, and Financial Intelligence Agent.
